Accounts Associate
Our client is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting financial accuracy and contributing to the smooth operation accounting systems.
As an Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:
- Entering data into purchase ledgers accurately and using accounting systems
- Conducting cross-checks on invoices to find discrepancies
- Verifying invoices
- Handling invoice queries and collaborating with vendors to resolve disputes
- Managing sales invoices and keeping the sales ledger
- Conducting reconciliations and posting receipts and payments
- Aiding in the preparation of financial statements, spreadsheets, and reports as needed
- Addressing finance-related queries and aiding with end-of-year procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- AAT qualified or working towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification
- Strong analytical skills and ability in interpreting complex financial data
- Meticulous with a prominent level of accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines and prioritize workload
- Excellent Excel and Microsoft skills
- Essential experience with Sage Line 50, including purchase ordering and projects
