Your new companyHays are pleased to be partnered with one of our key clients within the Perthshire area who are looking to build their existing, well established finance team with the additional of a full time, permanent Part Qualified / Finalist Accountant. This company are locally based, nationally recognised with a strong presence in their specialist industry and provide a true progression path for individuals operating within finance.Your new roleIn your new role, you will take a proactive position within the wider finance team to support in the management and delivery of quarterly management and statutory accounts. This role will involve posting journals, providing variance analysis and working closely with the wider team to manage accounts reconciliations as well as producing financial reports required by both internal and external stakeholders.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed, you will be a part qualified or finalist CA looking to progress their finance career with a company that can offer opportunity and development throughout the business. You will demonstrate a willingness to apply your skills across complex reconciliations, financial analysis and journal postings as well as an understanding of the delivery of management and statutory accounts. You will have strong Excel skills including pivot tables and are comfortable with communicating financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a competitive base salary of up to £35,000 plus considerable company benefits including 34 days annual leave, a generous pension scheme and an opportunity to secure an annual bonus of up to 10% based on individual and company performance.
