The Recruitment Co are hiring a full time Facilities Coordinator for their client based in Perth.
Salary: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
08.15-16.45 Monday-Thursday
08.15-13.15 Friday
30 minute unpaid break
Location: Perth
Role and responsibilities:
- Carry out general maintenance activities in and around the site.
- General janitorial duties.
- Cleaning of key safety equipment (fire extinguishers, fire exit signage, etc).
- Cleaning and painting of factory surfaces.
- Operate cleaning equipment (hoover, ride on floor scrubber, leaf vacuum, etc).
- Emptying of skips, scrap bags, recycling bins, cardboard baling.
- Emptying of settlement tanks.
- Cleaning canteen fridges, first aid room, operatate sanitising machine.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
What we are looking for:
- Practical skills such as painting, decorating, woodwork, basic mechanical skills.
- Proactive and the ability to work on own initiative with minimal direction.
- Ability to coordinate work plans with other departments to minimise disruption.
- Communication skills.
- Willing to pass on the job training for counterbalance forklift licence.
