About the firm:

As an Audit Senior, you will be joining a top 15 firm that supports individuals and businesses across a range of sectors, providing market-leading accountancy, audit, business advisory, tax and VAT services throughout the UK and Internationally.

Based out of the High Wycombe office, you’ll be working towards a very flexible hybrid approach of up to 3 days a week working from home. You’ll receive the benefit of having flexible hours, following the core hours of 10am-4pm with your contracted hours being 35 hours per week. With the option of paid overtime, your salary will increase if you work additional hours for a deadline for example.

What to expect day to day:

As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver quality and efficient statutory audit and other assurance engagements to clients.

You will:

  • work with our expansive and varied client base, including a number of large corporate clients and groups with turnover up to ÂŁ500m
  • lead the statutory audit engagement, from planning through to completion 
  • involved in the preparation and review of group and single entity financial statements
  • work alongside the Partners and Managers to deliver advisory work including, preparation of financial forecast models, business plans, reporting on internal controls, financial due diligence and other ad hoc projects
  • build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, being a key client contact
  • supervise, coach and develop the audit team
  • benefit from investment in coaching and developing you, with one-to-one support from the Manager and Partner team

Professional services, Charities, FOGs, Financial services, Food and Drink, International audit, Real Estate, Sports and Entertainment, Manufacturing, TV, Film, Video Games.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified – alongside UK based experience.
  • You should have prior experience in an audit and accounts role – preferably leaning towards audit.
