The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a growing and long standing business based in Peterborough who are looking to appoint either a qualified, or qualified by experince Management Accountant to act as a Finance Manager to the Purchase Ledger team.To be successful for this role you will need to have supervised or managed a team before and be confident in dealing with key stakeholders. If you have had previous involvement in system improvements and implementations, that would be advantageous for this role.Working closely with the Finance Controller and the commercial finance team, your duties will include:
- Balance sheet recs
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and annual audits
- Stock management, processing, reviewing and reporting on stock.
- Assist in regular stock checks and investigate variances.
- Ensure that product costs are properly taken in the cost of sales and inventory costs.
- Coordinating with the production and supply chain teams to ensure that records relating to inventory in the system are properly maintained.
- Supervision of staff (small team of 3)
- Compliance reporting
- Supporting with system developments and the wider finance team
This role is office based 5 days a week, therefore you will need to live within a commutable distance to Peterborough.Candidates who display the right experience but are only part qualified will also be considered for the role and study support will be offered to complete the remainder of your qualification.The salary for this role is paying up to £50,000 per annum, however there could be some flexibility on this for the right person.This is a varied role that offers a lot scope for growth and the chance to get involved in additional projects and responsibilities in the future.
