Operational Support Assistant – Homecare Mobilisation Team£26,000 per annum, OTE £30kFull timePermanentLocation: UK based (Central Midlands, Yorkshire and North) Applications considered in areas from Peterborough to Leeds. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Operational Support Assistant to join our team to work across the UK. As an Operational Support Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting the mobilisation team with coordinating new care projects and maintaining quality assurance across our operations as new contracts are implemented.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the mobilisation of new care projects, ensuring all necessary resources are in place for a successful launch.
  • Coordinate the setup of new care services, ensuring all client needs are assessed and recorded effectively on our digital care management systems .
  • Manage the integration of new clients and caregivers into our rostering system, creating initial rosters in the most efficient way, providing training and support to new branch staff as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new clients and their families, providing support and information, during the transition phase.
  • Implement and oversee quality control systems in new and existing packages to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Conduct reviews, audits and routine checks to monitor the quality of care and adherence to protocols in line with the transitional plan
  • Support the resource with recruitment, training, and placement of staff to ensure that care visits are delivered as scheduled and in line with service user preferences.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for staff and services to ensure optimal coverage and quality of care.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., IT, HR, Finance) to ensure support systems are integrated and functional during the mobilisation phase.
  • Manage digital care records and documentation related to the service in line with company policies
  • Support the onboarding of new branch staff to assist with an effective handover to the permanent local team
  • Between mobilisations work with the quality team to support the organisations ongoing quality improvement programme by supporting branches, carrying out audits and mentoring teams as appropriate
Requirements:
  • Availability to work away from home for the mobilisation period (an estimated period of 8-10 weeks at a time)(accommodation provided).
  • Proven experience in the care industry, particularly in roles related to care coordination or quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and adapt to new challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital care management systems.
