Formulation Chemist - Personal Care - Cambridgeshire
Looking for both graduates and junior Chemists for one of the top UK manufacturing partners for well-known brands and retailers. The award winning business has is renowned for developing their staff, there are genuine opportunities to progress your career to senior level as a Development Chemist. For graduates you would have a set salary increase every periodically over a 3 year period. The successful Formulation Chemist will work for a business with an excellent reputation setting the benchmark in regards to quality and innovation within Private Label and Contract Manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Researching and developing new formulations in line with cosmetics regulations
- Attending NPD meetings
- Deputising for senior chemists
- Liasing with customers and business development team
- Reviewing technical data
- Approving stability testing on company products
- Liaising with internal teams such as process, production, purchasing and quality
- Dealing with reps from perfume and raw material companies
- Ensuring that approved formulations are validated, prior to production
- Seminars that's associated with product development
Experience & Qualifications:
- Educated within Chemistry or relevant subject.
- Formulation experience or knowledge
- Cosmetics regulatory experience or knowledge is highly desirable.
