Evolve are recruiting for a leading medical technology organisation that specialise within diagnostic products that detect and diagnose eye conditions and treat patients across the world. They’re seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for maximising opportunities by effective territory management, securing and building long term relationships with all customer groups within hospitals and clinical settings.

This is a full-time position covering the Midlands, East of England and the South West territories of the UK.

Ideal Requirements for an Area Sales Manager

  • Must have surgical sales experience along with selling in theatre.
  • Experience of building strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and commercially minded in order to exceed targets within an established timeframe.
  • Excellent communication, planning and time management skills.

Role Responsibilities for an Area Sales Manager

  • Maintain an excellent level of knowledge and understanding of all company products.
  • Plan and implement actions to achieve company targets.
  • Negotiate( within guidelines) prices, discounts and terms to ensure the best deals are secured and thatexpense spending is within the agreed budget.
  • Have a goof level of understanding of competitor products and industry trends through networking and the web.
