Business Development Manager

My client is fast-growing ambitious agile family run business, working in the private sector from SME to Corporate with thousands of established customers.

They are seeking an experienced BDM/Sales Consultant with an interiors background, to assist in unearthing and winning more projects, as well as developing our existing customer base. A professional consultative approach is paramount, the ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, drive and ambition. A team player, who wants to be part of something where they can make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To achieve sales targets
  • Generate a strong new business pipeline
  • Qualify and pursue inbound leads
  • Identify and further develop partner routes to market
  • Put together and present proposals and presentations, supported by the design and marketing team.
  • Oversee a project from start to finish
  • Stay up to date with current industry trends.
  • Keep company CRM system accurate and up to date
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue.

About you:

  • You will have experience of meeting and exceeding New Business Sales Targets in the office furniture or interiors industry
  • You will have previous experience in account sales development with a consistent and proven track record.
  • You will have superb communication skills. You will need to be able to present our business proposition in a compelling and engaging manner.
  • You will have the ability to identify business opportunities and partnerships that are beneficial to the growth and reputation of our business.
  • Happy to travel and go above and beyond to secure business.
