Credit Controller
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Up to £25,000 + benefits
Our client, a leading organisation in Peterborough, is seeking a Credit Controller to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to their continued growth.
As a Credit Controller, you will be part of a smaller team of 3 Credit Controllers, responsible for collections from local authorities and privately funded domiciliary care customers. While previous credit control experience is preferred, full training will be provided. Proficiency in Sage 200 and Outlook is required, however, training can be provided if necessary.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with local authorities and clients to address billing queries, issue credit notes, and ensure accurate billing.
- Monitoring allocated accounts and providing regular feedback in credit control meetings.
- Assisting private clients in making payments via card.
- Managing weekly/monthly direct debit runs through the Go Cardless system.
- Arranging credit notes with authorisation from branches.
- Completing credit checks and setting up new accounts on Sage 200.
- Working towards departmental KPIs with your team.

The contracted working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working options available within core hours of 09:00-17:00.
