- Provide tailored support to children who use BSL as their primary mode of communication.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCO to deliver inclusive learning experiences.
- Adapt classroom materials and activities to meet individual needs.
- Foster a positive, nurturing environment that promotes student engagement and confidence.
- Monitor and report on student progress and well-being.
- Proficient in British Sign Language (minimum Level 2 preferred).
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly those with additional needs.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across multiple classrooms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about inclusive education and supporting every child to thrive.
