Our client is a market leader in the design, fabrication and delivery of award-winning water treatment plants.
We are recruiting for a Industrial Electrician in the Thames / Anglian water regions to carry out works on and in their plants.
Role Overview:
As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems within industrial facilities. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of machinery, equipment, and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control panels.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults promptly.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve system efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- Proven industrial experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and instrumentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
