Production Operative

Job Role

We are working with a growing business in Peterborough that are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for handling raw materials, assembling parts, operating power tools and MHE to ensure the efficient manufacture of their products. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and parts according to blueprints and specifications
  • Operate machinery, power tools and manual handling equipment
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment and machinery as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in production or manufacturing preferred
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Sense of urgency and work ethic a mandatory requirement
