Finance Business Partnering Manager | Cambridgeshire | Housing Association | Agile WorkingCastlefield Recruitment are working with a housing association based in Cambridgeshire in order to appoint a Finance Business Partnering Manager. They are a truly agile organisation that have pulled together an excellent team from across the country. With a strategy to ensure that finance becomes a central function, they have invested in bringing in a finance leader passionate about assisting key decision makers. Role:As Business Partnering Manager you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Finance to ensure that operational teams have access to the right data to aid decision making. Duties:

  • Implementing an effective business partnering service, ensuring the data is accurate and robust and management information is provided
  • Development and leadership of an effective finance business partnering service to budget and service managers. Providing effective leadership to manage and motivate the Finance team to outperform against agreed objectives
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all financial planning. Upholding and promoting principles of quality customer service, continuous improvement, efficiency and equality and diversity
  • Producing long term investment needs for existing stock for the 30 year business plan, ensuring the data is accurate and robust
  • Providing appropriate financial ‘challenge’ to senior managers as a constructive “critical friend”, supporting them with a financial management information reporting service in areas of commercial planning, procurement, and financial control, supporting a culture of continuous improvement of value for money

Person:The successful candidate:

  • Fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) 
  • Experience within social housing
  • A background in leadership roles
  • Able to work well from home
