About the Role:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. You'll interact, supervise, and support children's learning while contributing to the day-to-day running of the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact, supervise, and ensure the safety and happiness of children
- Act as a key worker, responsible for learning and assessments
- Contribute to planning and assessment
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Support the nursery team and children, including basic care tasks
- Share responsibility for safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
The Ideal Candidate:
The nursery is seeking someone passionate about childcare, with a nurturing demeanour and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in childcare or early years education
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
