Due to an extended period of exponential growth, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the expanding design team.

About The Maintenance EngineerRole

You will be responsible for planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of bespoke equipment and machinery.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Complying with health and safety protocols, including drafting Risk Assessments and Safe Working Procedures.
  • Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance according to CMMS.
  • Recording all relevant information on CMMS: spares, time, machine, and faults.
  • Servicing, repairing, and diagnosing faults on equipment.
  • Identifying projects to enhance throughput, capacity, and reduce downtime.
  • Sourcing spares and replacement parts to minimize downtime.
  • Implementing agreed improvements.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in automated areas.
  • Managing contractor sign-ins, documentation, and supervision.
  • Communicating effectively with line manager and other engineers for issue resolution.
  • Spotting Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities.
  • Facilitating upstream and downstream communication with customers.

A successful Maintenance Engineer will need:

  • ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification
  • Preferably electrical bias
  • Proficient experience in Engineering and Maintenance
  • Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Good customer relations expertise
