Bespak are looking for permanent Maintenance Engineers for the Kings Lynn site. You will be working in a clean, well maintained, ambient temperature controlled safe environment with excellent health and safety processes, this is shown by our current status of over 1,100 days without a lost time accident on our site of nearly 1000 staff. Our generous benefits package includes 28 days leave plus bank holidays, 8% company pension contribution to employees 3%, onsite parking and medical / dental / health / life insurance.

We currently have 2 shifts available:

Shift 1 4 on 4 off pattern Salary is between £47k and £53k, includes shift allowance.

Mon 6am to 6pm / Tue 6am to 6pm / Wed 6pm to 6am / Thu 6pm to 6am
Fri+Sat+Sun+Mon off - Start pattern again Tue 6am - Rolling 8-week cycle.


Shift 2 24/5 3 shift pattern Salary is between £42k and £47k, includes shift allowance.

NO WEEKENDS - Mon to Friday - Rotating 3 shift pattern.
Week 1 6am to 2:30pm - Week 2 2pm to 10:30pm - Week 3 10pm to 6:30am


Aa Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of moulding, assembly, and packaging systems within our manufacturing areas. You will be working on a range of assets, mainly cam driven assembly systems and a variety of injection moulding machines ranging from 50t to 300t incorporating automation and robotics, therefore this role will offer an opportunity to work with a variety of equipment.

As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

  • Reactive repairs and undertake root cause investigations.
  • Schedule and undertake PPM.
  • Provide systems maintenance knowledge, training, and advice.
  • Assist with the installation, debug and validation of process equipment.
  • Identify/propose process and systems improvement opportunities.

Maintenance Engineer key skills and experience:

  • Level 3 engineering/HNC/degree (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Dual skilled, mechanical, and electrical
  • PLC understanding and CMMS experience.
  • Working knowledge of statistical control systems.
  • Able to use drawing manuals and circuit diagrams.
