We are seeking a proactive and experienced Lettings Property Manager to join our independent estate and lettings agency, proudly serving Peterborough and Whittlesey. With a strong reputation for delivering a full range of residential sales, lettings, and property management services, we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellent customer service and operational excellence.

About the Role:Based at our Whittlesey office, you will play a central role in managing both our tenant-find and fully managed property portfolios. Working closely with the Lettings Manager and overseeing a Lettings Administrator, your role will involve the smooth running of daily operations, from rent collection and property maintenance to tenancy renewals and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee rent collection and ensure timely, accurate payments to landlords

  • Lead and support the Lettings Administrator in coordinating maintenance, inspections, and regulatory compliance

  • Conduct annual rent reviews in line with market trends

  • Manage tenancy check-outs and resolve deposit disputes

  • Renew Assured Shorthold Tenancies (ASTs) and ensure compliance documentation is up-to-date

  • Handle deposit registrations and releases

  • Carry out detailed property inventories

  • Administer and renew rent guarantee policies

  • Respond to tenant enquiries and deliver high-quality customer service

About You:

  • Previous experience in lettings or property management is essential

  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements

  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience managing or mentoring team members is desirable
