Maths Teacher

Recruitment Education Global Services are currently recruiting for a Maths to work on a long-term contract starting in September 2024 teacher. The role is for five days per week and is for the whole academic year, with the potential that the role could become permanent further down the line. This is a full-time position working at a secondary school located in the Peterborough area. The position is open to experienced teachers and ECT’s.

We are seeking an outstanding fully qualified Maths Teacher who has experience teaching KS3/KS4 Mathematics, with Key Stage 5 a desirable but not essential criteria. The Maths teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering the highest-quality lessons and achieving excellent results for their higher-level ability students whilst also motivating students currently under achieving.

The pupils you will be teaching have a variety of abilities, where you will be expected to make lessons challenging and engaging for all pupils.

The school are looking for a well-rounded Maths Teacher who can be adaptable and ensure the whole classroom is engaged in lessons, so you will be expected to display excellent classroom management skills and be confident managing challenging behaviour.

Requirements

• Maths Teacher Key Stage 3-4, plus Key Stage 5 (desirable but not essential)
• Relevant UK classroom teaching experience
• Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
