Atrium Healthcare is currently recruiting on behalf of a client for the position of Deputy Manager to assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a children's home. This role involves ensuring clear and effective procedures for monitoring and controlling home activities, maintaining financial viability, managing serious incidents or complaints, and upholding the quality of care provided.
Responsibilities:
路Facilitate the day-to-day management, monitoring, and supervision of staff in a professional manner.
路Promote professionalism and standards among the team in accordance with policies and procedures.
路Deploy staff on duty effectively to ensure smooth operation of the unit.
路Participate in informative and productive staff meetings, ensuring actions are documented.
路Contribute to staff induction processes.
路Report any malpractice or suspicions to appropriate management or regulatory bodies.

Requirements:
路Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
路Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
路Full UK Driving License.

Experience:
路Experience in child protection and supervising staff.
路Ideally, at least 3 years of experience working with children and young people.
路Minimum of 1 year's experience in a senior role with children and young people (essential).
