Atrium Healthcare, on behalf of our client, is on the lookout for compassionate individuals to join their team as Senior Support Workers. If you're passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of Children coping with Emotional Behaviour Disorders and Mental Health challenges, we want to hear you! Your Role: As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a crucial role in establishing a nurturing and secure environment for children facing emotional and behavioural challenges. Your responsibilities will include: 路Working closely with the registered manager to ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere for children in care. 路Utilizing your relevant qualifications and prior experience to deliver tailored care to children with diverse needs. 路Motivating, nurturing, and empowering children to reach their full potential within a residential care setting. 路Providing emotional support and guidance to children facing behavioural and emotional challenges. 路Facilitating activities and interventions aimed at promoting the well-being and development of children in care. 路Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create individualised care plans and strategies. Requirements: 路NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential or equivalent. 路Due to the location, a full UK driving license and access to your own car. 路Proven experience working in a children's residential environment. 路Ability to effectively communicate and engage with children of diverse backgrounds and needs. 路Strong behaviour management skills and a thorough understanding of safeguarding principles. 路Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach towards supporting children with emotional and behavioural disorders.
