Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fabricating and assembling structural steel components to exact specifications, ensuring the integrity and durability of our finished products.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding operations on structural steel components according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of welds, adhering to strict dimensional tolerances and welding codes.
  • Fabricate and assemble structural steel elements such as beams, columns, and trusses with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct visual inspections of welded components to detect and correct defects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a MIG/TIG Welder in a structural steel fabrication environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Ability to operate MIG and TIG welding equipment safely and effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
