Our client is a leading Metal Fabricator company based in Peterlee, renowned for our commitment to quality craftsmanship and innovation. With a proud history of delivering exceptional results for our clients, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in metal fabrication.Role Overview:As a Fabricator/Plater, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for transforming engineering drawings into high-quality fabricated structures. Your expertise in reading engineering drawings and working with thick plate materials will be invaluable as you contribute to the success of our projects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to accurately plan and execute fabrication tasks.
  • Utilize your structural steel experience to fabricate and assemble components with precision and efficiency.
  • Work with thick plate materials to create durable and reliable structures that meet our exacting standards.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure seamless workflow and timely project delivery.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator/Plater, ideally within the metal fabrication industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of structural steel principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work with thick plate materials and perform various fabrication processes.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
