Plant Sales Assistant - Part Time

Whitehall Garden Centre is a family run and award winning business. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Full Time Plant Sales Assistant at our Woodborough Garden Centre, near Pewsey, Wiltshire

The ideal candidate will ideally have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Working 4 days between Monday to Friday and alternate weekends.

Full Time Plant Sales Assistant responsibilities;

• Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
• Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Identifying customers plant needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
• Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre
• Excellent standard of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines
• All products are accurately priced and labelled in accordance with Company Policy 
• Ensure personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guideline
• Packing of goods is carried out in a professional manner, and carry outs are offered where required
• Maintains a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties
