£36,700-£38,300 plus monthly bonusDays - 7am 3pmAcorn by Synergie is currently recruiting a Facilities Maintenance Engineer on behalf of their client. You will primarily work with engineering tasks to upkeep and maintain our industrial buildings. This role requires experience in maintaining industrial buildings, so if you have the expertise and the drive to excel in this field, keep reading!

Your main responsibilities as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer will include completing routine and emergency repairs to internal and external buildings, fixtures, fittings, and infrastructure. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing interior and exterior surfaces such as painted walls, tiling, and concrete / block work. In addition, you will be expected to handle water pipework and carpentry tasks.

Duties:- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any maintenance or repair needs- Perform routine facilities maintenance repairs.- Perform routine inspections of assigned buildings and infrastructure.- Scope, source and procure materials for projects and repairs as necessary.- Evaluating and repairing issues as they arise and communicating with Supervisors.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols- Control of contractors for building / facilities maintenance
