Morson Talent are currently looking for experienced Joiner/outfitters for work on Royal Naval ships.
You’ll have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, able to work with other materials as requested and have experience in the use of power tools / shop machinery.
Key skills:
Compartment outfitting
Fitting bespoke furniture
General workshop experience
Good attention to detail
Competent in use of hand tools
Desirable skills / experience:
Fitting bulkhead and deckhead linings
Fitting deck coverings
You’ll need to hold qualifications in at least one of the following:
Indentured Apprenticeship
NVQ Level 3 equivalent
6 Month contract initially, with the potential of this being extended.
35 std hours a week Monday to Friday (Mon – Thur 07.30 – 15.30 & Fri 07.30 – 12.30)
Additional hours & shift work a possibility
