Major Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for Factory Operative/Fabricators for our long-established client on a Fixed Term Contact basis. Our client, a leading name in oilfield equipment, is looking to add a dynamic member to their diverse team.
Location: Plymouth
Pay: 11.50 - 12.00 p/h
Hours: 40 hours per week. Mon - Thurs 7am - 5:30pm plus Overtime at higher rate
Contract: 3 Months' Fixed Term Contract
What you will be doing as a Factory Operative/Fabricator:
- Assist the Fabrication Team to carry out their daily tasks.
- Work to achieve high quality in the assembly of component parts
- Demonstrate a skillset using various hand tools
- Ensure production target output and quality is maintained
- Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining production area housekeeping
- Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently#
- Work productively and safely in compliance with our systems of work
- Maintain good levels of workmanship and traceability
