With a portfolio already valued in the tens of millions, this organisation is entering an exciting new phase — and they're looking for a commercially astute Finance Director to lead their finance function and help shape strategic growth.About the role:This is a newly created senior leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the board. You'll take full ownership of the finance function, leading a small team and acting as a key voice in business-critical decisions.What you’ll be doing:
  • Oversee all core financial operations, including reporting, forecasting, and treasury
  • Lead and develop the finance team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Act as the key point of contact for external advisors and stakeholders
  • Support the board with commercial analysis and financial strategy
  • Play a hands-on role in appraising and delivering new investment opportunities
What we’re looking for:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • 5+ years post-qualified experience, ideally with exposure to project-based or asset-heavy businesses
  • Strong financial modelling skills and a sharp commercial mindset
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with day-to-day financial oversight
  • A confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Bonus points for:
  • Experience in capital raising or funding structures
  • Background in development, investment, or construction finance (not essential)
