DK Recruitment on behalf of their client are searching for an experience overheads manager based in the Plymouth office reporting to the Senior Assistant Finance Manager.

You will need to be well organised and proficient in dealing with the 'unexpected’. You will enjoy working alongside others as part of a team. You will need to be adaptable, confident, and able to adapt with the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

- Ownership of all property P&L and Balance Sheet codes to include:

  • Rent
  • Rates
  • Insurance
  • Utilities
  • Fixed Assets
  • Repairs and Renewals

- Monthly accruals, prepayments and other journals to support month end

- Full end to end process of accounts payable of property invoices

- CIS

- Review of Capex / repairs expenditure

- Updating the FA register

- Streamlining existing procedures

Skills and Requirements

- Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment

- Financial qualification (AAT or equivalent) essential

- Excellent communication and analytical skills

- Team management

- High level of accuracy / organisational skills

- IT literate with intermediate / advanced excel skills
