The Opportunity
We now have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Engineering team onsite at our Asphalt Plant in Plymouth. Where we manufacture asphalt used in infrastructure projects across the region.
With the support of our regional engineering team,you'll be the onsite mechanical support for our Asphalt plant. Where you'llattend reactive and planned maintenance tasks to help keep our site operational.
Covering Monday-Friday days - typically 07:00-15:00 however overtime is available for breakdowns and PPM's.
Anticipated overtime of 1 in 4 weekends for covering PPM's where time has not allowed throughout the working week.
Who you are
Youll have experience working as a Mechanical Fitter in either an industrial manufacturing or as a Fitter for material's handling equipment.
Youll be a qualified engineer through either an apprenticeship or an externally sourced Level 2 Mechanical qualification.
Youll be flexible to cover weekend work as overtime where required.
