Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company based in Plymouth, who are seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join the team. As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and drawing mechanical systems and components, utilising your expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and machinery. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including creating tooling jugs and stillages, as well as problem-solving and implementing continuous improvement strategies.

As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in achieving this by utilising your skills and knowledge to create detailed drawings using AutoCad and Solidworks & Inventa

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and be able to apply them to practical situations. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to find creative solutions. As a key member of the team, you will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, using your expertise to identify areas for optimisation and proposing solutions to enhance our processes.

To qualify for this role, you should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. As well as verifiable experience designing mechanical systems.
