Maintenance Engineering Supervisor - Herreschoff Kilns Site (HK3), Lee Moor Plympton, Devon, PL7 5JP

Salary: Up to £46,500 per annum, dependant on experience plus 5% annual performance-based bonus

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our HK3 site! Reporting into the Plant Manager, you'll be responsible for the Site Maintenance, providing electrical and mechanical support for our fixed plant equipment. 

You’ll be responsible for managing the engineering team; co-ordinating resources, including managing contractors and ensuring the safe and cost-effective maintenance of the plant. 

You will need to maintain plant availability at high levels through planned routine maintenance and reaction to breakdowns, as well as being energy efficient.

Candidate requirements:

Fixed plant maintenance experience within a production environment is important along with your team leadership/supervisory skills, experience of working to and setting budgets and working with ERP systems. You will also:
  • Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering.
  • Hold a workplace Health and Safety qualification/ certification, ideally NEBOSH or IOSH
  • Have a sound understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance including fixed processing plant and heavy plant machinery.
  • Be able to fault find and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Have experience of working to KPI's
  • Have good communication skills and be a team player.
  • Be IT literate and ideally have experience of using SAP
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
