Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all mise en place is prepared efficiently, to a consistently high standard, and within required timeframes
  • Cook and plate dishes in line with recipes, ensuring correct portion sizes, garnishes, and presentation standards
  • Uphold rigorous food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety standards at all times
  • Accurately complete food safety, allergen, and temperature records as part of daily compliance
  • Monitor ingredient and stock levels, promptly reporting any shortages or issues
  • Actively support the Sous Chef and take the lead during their absence when required
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to junior team members, maintaining consistency and high standards across your section
  • Foster a positive, professional, and respectful kitchen environment
  • Engage in training opportunities and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-quality kitchen environment
  • A strong eye for detail and a passion for creating consistently excellent dishes
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • A team-focused attitude and the ability to support and train junior chefs
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest hygiene, safety, and food quality standards
