Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all mise en place is prepared efficiently, to a consistently high standard, and within required timeframes
- Cook and plate dishes in line with recipes, ensuring correct portion sizes, garnishes, and presentation standards
- Uphold rigorous food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety standards at all times
- Accurately complete food safety, allergen, and temperature records as part of daily compliance
- Monitor ingredient and stock levels, promptly reporting any shortages or issues
- Actively support the Sous Chef and take the lead during their absence when required
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to junior team members, maintaining consistency and high standards across your section
- Foster a positive, professional, and respectful kitchen environment
- Engage in training opportunities and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-quality kitchen environment
- A strong eye for detail and a passion for creating consistently excellent dishes
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- A team-focused attitude and the ability to support and train junior chefs
- A commitment to maintaining the highest hygiene, safety, and food quality standards
