Job Title: Site Maintenance OperativeLocation: PontefractSalary: £14 - £16phMetalis are currently in partnership with a specialist manufacturer based in Pontefract. Our client is looking to hire a maintenance operative on a 12-week temporary to permanent role.Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive maintenance. (e.g. welders, FLTs & Scissor lifts).
- Performing maintenance and repairs to the facilities.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
Person Specification:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repairing various equipment.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming.
- Basic electrical knowledge is preferred.
Shifts and Salary:
- Days regular.
- Monday - Friday.
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
- £14 - £16ph DOE.
