GENERAL MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Our high-profile client is a world leader in supply and manufacturing based on the outskirts of Pontefract. Due to their continuous growth, they now require a General Maintenance Electrician who will be responsible for all on site electrical installations.

On offer is a competitive basic salary, overtime opportunities paid up to triple time , 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, employee assistant program plus many more.

ON OFFER:

Basic salary 36,592 for 37 Hours per week
OTE of up to around 47,000
Overtime: x 1.25 Saturday / x 1.5 Sunday / Treble Time for Bank holidays.

RESPONSIBILTIES AS A GENERAL MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN:

Complete preventative maintenance check sheets.
Carry out repairs to all on site electrical and mechanical equipment as required.
Complete all electrical works in line with current legislation and regulations.
Routinely inspecting electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
Conducting maintenance repairs on old or faulty fixtures.
Assist General Maintenance Fitter as required.
Assist Shift Engineers as required.
Carry out all on site electrical installations.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Time served Electrician.
Apprenticeship trained.
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (desirable).
Professional approach.
Someone who can work independently; multitask, organise and prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines.
Practically minded: able to roll sleeves up and get stuck in!
