We are looking for dedicated and skilled Caretakers to join our vibrant team across a number of schools in the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about maintaining a safe and welcoming school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the school premises are well-maintained, safe, and clean.
• Perform minor repairs and coordinate with contractors for major repairs.
• Manage the opening and closing of the school premises.
• Oversee the maintenance of school grounds and facilities.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and assemblies.
• Monitor security of the buildings and maintain safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caretaker or similar role preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform minor repairs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must possess a valid child enhanced DBS certificate. Candidates with this certification can start immediately. those that dont - we can apply for your DBS
