Compliance Engineer, Poole, £50,000pa

The purpose of this role: 

As a Compliance Engineer, you’ll be familiar with compliance processes, keeping up to date with the latest regulatory requirements, working across design and development functions to ensure all existing and new products are designed, prototyped, and delivered to meet the necessary safety and regulatory requirements.

As the Compliance Engineer, you will: 

  • Keep up to date with the latest international regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Create and maintain internal compliance database, ensuring all necessary reporting is completed and communicated.
  • Assist through design, prototype, manufacturing and delivery phases, ensuring compliance requirements are met throughout.
  • Be the point of contact for external inspection and approvals, enacting corrective actions on any non-compliance issues.
  • Oversee internal compliance audits of all procedures, documentation and practices.

The successful Compliance Engineer will: 

  • Have working knowledge of health & safety, particularly in relation to electronics.
  • Be familiar with producing professional documents and reports.
  • Have previous experience within a quality assurance or product approval / compliance environment.
  • Experience within electronics manufacturing would be beneficial.
