We have a new opening for a specialist engineering company for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team based in Poole on a permanent basis.

Within this role you will see you strip down and rebuilding of mechanical products and parts. This is an excellent role for someone with excellent mechanical assembly / fitting skills who has an interest in engineering.

Working within a busy team for a company that values their staff this is a company that is expanding to meet customer demands and new orders for their precision engineered products.

Key duties will include;

·Excellent understanding of fitting to tight tolerances.

·The role will see you strip and rebuild of products and parts

·Inspection of components during rebuild and repair/replace

·Working to drawings & specifications

·Working to company & client processes and regulatory requirements

The successful applicant will possess;

·An excellent understanding and experience of practical engineering in a busy workshop environment.

·Mechanical experience including fitting or assembly to tight tolerances

·Relevant engineering qualifications or served apprenticeship would be advantageous but not essential
