If so, we have the perfect role for you! Our client is based in Greater Manchester and is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of quantity surveying from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed budgets and timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake and manage the cost management of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they stay within budget and meet financial targets

• Lead the preparation, negotiation, and settlement of contractual documents including tenders, variations, claims, and final accounts

• Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate monthly cost reports - Provide advice and guidance on contractual matters to internal teams and external stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and legislation, including health and safety requirements

• Support the development and implementation of project management strategies, identifying and mitigating risks

Requirements:

• MRICS qualified is essential

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, including some project management experience

• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and financial management

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Proficient in the use of relevant software and systems

• Experience in residential and commercial sectors is not required but would be advantageous
