Teamjobs are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing team based in Poole, providing support, and working within a busy office. The ideal candidate will have previous invoicing experience and be proficient using accounting systems.

Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and communicate with customers regarding payment status.
- Applying incoming payments to outstanding invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of accounts receivable.
- Ensure that all bank transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Ensure compliance with record retention policies and procedures.
- Communicating with customers regarding billing inquiries, disputes, payment arrangements, and other account-related matters in a professional and timely manner.
What we require from you:
- Confident using Microsoft Office 365
- Have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using BigChange & Quickbooks (Desirable)
