Process Engineer

Smart Solutions have an opportunity with an large international manufacturer for an experiencedProcess Engineerat their site based in Baglan. You will support the Plant Manager in order to ensure the achievement of efficiency and quality aims related to industrial activities in accordance with the groups policies.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 830am to 430pm.

Duties ofProcess Engineer:

• Ensure the achievement of productive, quality and cost-effective aims established in full compliance with provisions and policies in matters of safety, environment and products safety; ISO 9001 Quality System.
• Collaborate with the production teams in the process of permanent improvement in matters of productive efficiency; production costs; energy and raw materials consumption; environmental impact
• Support the Operations Manager in the formulation of budget proposals related to production and maintenance costs
• Liaise with the other depts. in order to maximise productivity, efficiency and service to clients
• Check and manage production and maintenance costs
• Guarantee the correct management and maintenance of plants
• Guarantee optimisation of energy consumption and exploitation of raw materials
• Check and validate production reports

Requirements of theProcess Engineer

• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with checking and validating production reports
• Experience in dealing with matters of safety, environment and products safety
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritise and problem solve
