Job Title: Administrator
Location: Portsmouth
Position Type: Temporary, Full-time
Duration: May 20th - June 14th, with possibility of extension or permanent placement
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Role Overview:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting administrative operations during a temporary period, primarily covering holiday leave. The role will involve checking sales orders, creating works orders, and organising subcontract work going out. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Check and process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Generate works orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate subcontract work, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and external stakeholders.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
Duration and Potential for Extension:
This temporary assignment is scheduled to commence on May 20th and conclude on June 14th. However, there is a possibility of extension or permanent placement based on performance and business needs.
