Benefits:  Plenty of free parking and good public transport options are available!! , an occasional day of working from home can be considered where needed.Hours: 37 Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm Dynamite recruitment is currently supporting a client in the recruitment for a Legal Administrator As a Legal Administrator you will be responsible for the following tasks: 
  • Working in a specialist team to support with legal administration.
  • Investigating fraudulent activity
  • Preparation of court documentation including photocopying and scanning of witness statements
  • Serving of court documentation to defendants, courts and in some cases, prosecutors
  • Open and action incoming mail and assess mitigation following client specific criteria for cases suitable for court.
  • Liaise with Magistrates Courts via telephone and email assisting with case queries, arranging court time and serving court summons for approval.
  • Liaise with third parties to obtain Arrest Summons Numbers for Railway Regulation offences.
  • Upload Arrest Summons Numbers to associated cases.
  • Input of court results to the prosecutions databases
  • Assist with out of court settlements.
  • Discuss payment plan options with those who find themselves in financial hardship.
  • Conduct investigations into suspected cases of fraud for the transport industry.
  • To complete general administration
 As a legal administrator you will have / be
  • Good administration skills and experience
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Good written skills and experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as play a key role in a team.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Comfortable using a range of IT platforms including the Microsoft Office
  • An interest to learn more about law is desirable.
