- Overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- Collaborating with specialists on product strategy, providing marketing information and technical knowledge that can used to optimise the strategy.
- Supporting and working with the Project Management team to ensure projects within the function are completed on time and within budget.
- Working alongside various internal teams such as Sales, Marketing and Product to influence and consolidate product development in one clear direction.
- Providing assistance on quotations and other pricing activities.
- Overseeing testing programmes with the aim of identifying improvements on product specifications and accompanying documentation.
- Conducting extensive market research to find trends, assess the competitive market and identify customer needs and requirements.
- Visiting customers to seek ways to improve the product and support the customer understanding of the product.
- Conducting supplier visits to gain a greater understanding of capabilities and possibilities for future product development.
- Participating in events such as trade shows as well as conferences and other press related activities.
