Stores Operative
Carbon60 are currently looking for a Stores Operative with previous experience within a similar warehouse/stores role to join one of our defence manufacturers in Portsmouth.
Due to the nature of the products being manufactured, candidates will be subject to clearance.
Working Hours: Mon - Thurs (06:30 - 16:00) - 36 hours per week.
Salary: 24,100 - 24,700 p/a
Role overview:
- Receive / unload deliveries.
- Receipting of stock / raw material.
- Locating stock.
- Stock counting.
- General work order picking / purchase order picking.
- Arrange collections for purchase orders, via couriers.
- Interact with Material Supervisor / Manufacturing Manager / Procurement Manager.
- General housekeeping.
- Delivery / Collection of orders from local suppliers
Desired experience:
- Previous Warehouse/Stores/Goods-In Experience
- Forklift Licence is preferable but not essential
- Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence
