- Regularly checking and monitoring the tools that the business uses on the manufacturing line and also the machinery, to ensure efficiency and to highlight proactively any repairs that are needed and suggest improvements where appropriate.
- Ensuring that all issues and queries are reported and recorded accurately and in a timely manner, providing recorded updates to situations as needed.
- Using the provided variety of instruments, which may include gauges, micrometres and vernier callipers to check the dimensions of the tools that are used.
- At all times, making sure that work is conducted and competed to a high standard, within the set-out time frame and that is complies with any regulations set out for quality control and standards.
