Alecto recruitment are currently recruiting for a Panel Beater on behalf of our client, As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for the repair and restoration of vehicle bodywork. You will work with a variety of vehicles, ensuring all repairs are completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner.

Due to their continued growth and increase demand they are looking for a mechanical vehicle technician to join their team and carry out day to day duties such as:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and repair damaged vehicle panels to restore them to their original condition.
  • Use various tools and techniques to shape and align panels.
  • Remove damaged panels and components, and fit new ones.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all repair work by using alignment equipment.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication with clients about their vehicle's status.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater or in a similar role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of panel beating techniques and tools.
  • Ability to work with a variety of materials, including metal and plastic.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid UK driving license.
