CNC Machinist (5 Axis)

• 6 month contract
• Wirral location
• Working continental shifts

Job Purpose:

Responsible for operating 5 Axis CNC milling machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading Machining fixtures
• Setting our range of Five Axis and Three Axis Machines
• Using measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier’s, plug gauges, screw gauges, ring gauges
• Carrying out regular Maintenance and Cleaning of Machines and Tools
• A good understanding of drawings and geometric tolerances
• Good understanding of component drawings
• Fanuc Controller experience would be beneficial

Required Skills

• Experienced operating CNCs - specifically 5-Axis
