Our client in Merseyside is is currently on the lookout for a WordPress developer to join their small but rapidly growing agency as they specialise in bespoke web development.As a WordPress Developer, you will be instrumental in building and launching new websites for their clients. You will work closely with the project management team and directly with clients to bring the website concepts to life. Creating and implementing custom WordPress themes and ensuring optimal performance and functionality is just one the responsibilities of this role.In addition to this, you will:
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements as well gathering feedback to make necessary changes ,
- Write PHP code for WordPress customisation
- Optimise websites for SEO and page speed performance
- Configure WooCommerce functionality for e-commerce websites.
Some of the skills and experience that are beneficial for this role include:
- Experience building WordPress websites from launch
- Strong experience in WordPress theme development
- PHP Coding skills with a focus on WordPress development
- Understanding of SEO (Search engine optimisation)
- Experience with Shopify is a bonus but not essential.
