About the company

My client offers care services and rehabilitation to individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries. Their care centre is based in Wirral, and they are looking for a general maintenance assistant to carry out reactive and planned maintenance on the estate.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems throughout the facility.
• Performing repairs and troubleshooting issues with plumbing fixtures, pipes, and equipment.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining water supply lines, drainage systems, and sewage systems.
• Collaborating with other maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of plumbing-related issues.
• Assisting in the planning and execution of plumbing-related projects and renovations.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a plumber, with a minimum of several years in a similar role.
• Relevant plumbing qualifications and certifications.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
